Twitter is down, solution? Friend Feed.

August 6th, 2009 | 2 comments | Social Media

I’ve never really gotten into friendfeed, until now. When Twitter fails, I feed my addiction to the constant connection by turning to friendfeed. Thankfully, a lot of my network who I rely on daily for whatever I find to be important, is on friendfeed.

Is this sad? Or is this awesome? I’m still working on that one.

I think the only time an addiction to digital spaces becomes sad (or a problem) is when it begins to replace real life interaction. When you’re at a networking event tweeting stuff out during a conversation with two other people, that’s a problem. Real life comes first, then digital life.

At least that’s my two cents. :)
