Sydney,

This is a really cool thing that you are doing. The fact that you were able to use BC and blogging to get a job is a tribute to how crucial networking and social media are in the new economy. Stories like yours and Matt's have made me formulate a few relocation plans of my own.

Being able to live with no regrets is arguably the most important thing to do during you life. From the topic of this post, it seems you were able to do just that. Congratulations on your new move, I will be excited to hear updates from your journey.

Let's see. Quitting my job. Selling (pretty much) all of my stuff. Packing my car and heading to Chicago to start the next chapter of my life. The similarities between our situations are pretty scary. Maybe you were a little smarter to do all this when you actually had a paid gig lined up, but sometimes you just have to take a blind leap of faith.

I think that's really what it all comes down to. Not being afraid to fail - embracing that there are going to be some bumpy roads ahead, but that all will be overcome and conquered through perseverance and determination. This isn't the end of an era, it's simply Chapter 2: The one where I move to Chicago, get married, make some new friends, and buy a heavier winter coat. Cheers!
